Cryolophosaurus ellioti saurophaganax including EuropeCryolophosaurus (C. ellioti "Frozen crested lizard") is a genus of extinct theropod dinosaur that lived about 190 million years ago during the Lower or Early Jurassic Pliensbachian, in what is now Antarctica. The most distinctive feature of Cryolophosaurus is its large fan shaped crest, which rises from the top of its skull. The crest is approximately 70 centimeters wide and has a curved, wavy shape. This crest is believed to have been used for visual
