A Model 1943 field cap insignia that remains on section of panzer beret, constructed in a machine woven style in matte green grey thread, on a black rayon trapezoid base, presents a SS style national eagle with outstretched wings clutching a circled swastika, positioned above a skull and crossbones with a bottom jaw and a single row of teeth, attached to piece of the black wool cap, the insignia measures 69 mm (w) x 44 mm (h), the
