It is the best all round six string bass viol, well suited for a wide variety of repertoire. The plain model features good quality, aged wood, a matte finished, and minimal decorative purfling around the edges of the instrument. The fingerboard and tailpiece are solid, plain maple and the pegs are rosewood. The decorative model features a high quality, fine grain wood with a
