This custom built amplifier is by Electric Wood Amps, Inc. The design, called the Studio A, is a 5 watt take on a Marshall type preamp, with three stages of gain. There is a half power mode, which when selected gives a fuzzier characteristic, almost like a low bias fuzz pedal. The Studio A's cabinet is made of solid Ambrosia maple with dovetail joints.
