Constructed of black painted wood, the obverse overlaid by a silvered brass disc bearing a biplane amidst clouds, situated above a silvered brass plaque bearing an engraved dedication of GEW. V. UFFZ. KORPS II. G. K. G. 153 (DONATED BY THE NON COMMISSONED OFFICER CORPS OF KAMPFGESCHWADER 153), the reverse topped by a magnetic metal suspension loop, unmarked, measuring 16 cm (w) x 26 cm (h), in extremely fine condition.
