The base is blocked black felt. It has black & white polka dot satin lining, is very light weight so very comfortable to wear, attaches with a comb and adjustable hat elastic. Base measurement: 16cm x 16cm (perfect for Royal Ascot) Height measurement: about 25cm off the top of the head (stalk is wired so adjustable) Weight: 87g This is how you attach a hat to make
