The ring is beautifully hand finished in our Orkney workshop and measures approximately 5mm wide. (6mm for sizes R and above.) Sheilas iconic Runic collection was inspired by inscriptions found inside Maeshowe, a Neolithic chambered cairn in Orkney, built around 2800 BCE. Sometime around the 12th century, Vikings broke into the tomb and carved runes
