A Victorian Gordon Highlander's Officer's Belt Archive Three WWII British Stars -A Victorian Gordon Highlander's Officer's Belt Acquired locally, this belt likely dates from the 1880's. Although it shows extensive wear and use, it demonstrates a high level of craftsmanship with thorough bullion work on black velvet. Importantly, the buckle is sterling silver on brass. The silver is worn from polishing, however the buckle remains solid.
