Each shirt is crafted in Japan using original archival garments as reference, preserving the authenticity, character and craftsmanship of the golden age of aloha wear. The Ancient Capital design is based on a rare early 1950s shirt produced under the Kilohana label, faithfully recreated by Sun Surf with remarkable attention to detail.
