Mid-Century 'Gladstone' Medical Bag Charm enamel Beautifully made with a shallowDATE: Mid Century, c. 1950 Mini medical bag charm with handle, medical cross symbol and hand hammered textured finish, designed to imitate leather. Stamped with makers mark Danecraft and sterling on the bottom, circa 1950. This particular bag shows similarities to the 'The Gladstone Bag', which was first manufactured by J G Beard at his leather shop in central London. The bag was crafted in leather with metal frames and at the time, J G Beard was an
