The gallery has been intricately carved to display scrolling openworked motifs that blend seamlessly into the claws securing the stones in place when the viewpoint is switched. Somewhat unusually for this style, the diamonds are set in platinum, indicating it's a slightly later example crafted around the turn of the 20th
