Antique Pair Regency George IV Neo-Classical Architectural Mahogany Hall Chairs Circa 1830 Paintings Antique Japanese Meiji Period IvoryA good pair of antique Regency carved mahogany hall chairs, in the Neo Classical style, 1830's. The chairs having an architectural twin 'Swan's Neck' pediment to the top & flanking a turned urn shaped finial, each chair back having central carved oval paterae and carved bosses & acanthus leaf spandrels. The front legs of carved block tapering form, the rear legs having a gentle outswept 'sabre' shaped leg, condition is very good.
