Peru, Republic. An Order Of Police Merit, Investigative Police Star, C.1955 Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic eighteen years of age or(Orden al Mrito de la Polica). Instituted in 1945. Three piece construction, insignia in silver gilt with red, white, blue and green enamels, mounted to an eight pointed silver gilt star base, with three emanating rays between each of the star points, measuring 78 mm (w) x 78 mm (h), vertical pinback, repair evident in the red enamels on the coat of arms, otherwise the enamels are intact, light contact overall, near extremely fine.
