Early 20th Century Cast Iron Scholl's Arch Fitter Machine rotary Vintage figural cougar mug designedc. 1900s 1910s; Scholl Manufacturing Company, Inc. Chicago Antique shoe arch fitter. This rare piece was used to stretch leather and other textiles to fit the form of a consumer's foot arch. It was designed by Dr. William M. Scholl (yes, that Dr. Scholl), who was a Chicago based podiatrist at the time of starting his company.
