NAKAMURA TOSHITO Kutani Ware Round Vase - Two Friendly Sparrows / 九谷焼 花瓶 k8-1259 ■ Size: 22This vase has real presence despite its modest size. The petal like opening frames the arrangement naturally, while the sparrows positioned in the middle create a sense of movement and companionship. The soft wash of colour around them feels almost like dawn or dusk captured on porcelaina quiet moment held still. (Fukura Suzumezu), meaning "Plump Sparrows Illustration", is a delicately framed porcelain artwork by celebrated Kutani ware artist Nakamura
