A Patriotic Iron Cross Medal Archive the Allies faced a severeAn Iron Cross paty constructed of bronze and white and black enamels, the obverse bears a central double headed eagle, the arms are of black enamel with a white enamel border, the 12 oclock arm bears a crown and the 6 oclock arm bears the date 1914 15, the reverse is plain and bears the maker mark GES GESCHTZ, on an ornate teardrop shaped black enamel suspension loop, measuring 31. 06 mm (w) x 34. 56 mm (h), very fine.
