1924 Print Black Hole Calcutta Dungeon Fort William Memorial Post Office XGN9 Chamber of Commerce February 1902This is an original 1924 halftone print of Calcutta's infamous "Black Hole," a fourteen by eighteen feet dungeon. There have been accounts which mention that 146 British prisoners of war were held there after the fall of Fort William, however by the following morning, only twenty three had survived. CONDITION This 87+ year old Item is rated Near Mint Very Fine+. Light aging throughout. No creases. No natural defects. No surface rub. No tears. No water
