Germany, Ss. A Waffen-Ss Panzer Em/Nco’s M43 Field Cap United Republic of which is a wide leather(Waffen SS Feldmtze fr Panzertruppe). Constructed of black wool. The cap is fully surrounded by scalloped fold down panels, providing optional ear and neck protection for the wearer. When not in use, the panels are rolled up and secured in place by dual black bakelite buttons on the right flap meeting an equal number of reinforced buttonholes on the left flap. Stitched onto the peak is an insignia in the form of a black rayon trapezoid bearing a SS
