Depicted is an outstanding monument of secular architecture, the Rector's Palace in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The Palace is a blend of both Gothic and Renaissance styles, attributable to its turbulent history and the resulting reconstructions and additions. The building was first referred to as "Palace" in 1349. Peixotto has captured and preserved
