The fibers are more flexible than carbon, but much stronger and harder to cut. Aramid is also known under the brand name Kevlar. Aramid tape is mainly used as an intermediate layer in a sandwich composite board. It can also be used as a top layer where a lot of friction is expected. These aramid fabrics are not suitable for textile applications. We recommend to use this product with epoxy for functional applications.
