Concavenator corcovatus skeleton Variant:Unprimed which lived during the LateConcavenator corcovatus is a carcharodontosaurid theropod that lived during the Early Cretaceous Period, approximately 125 million years ago, in what is now Spain. Discovered in 2003 in the Las Hoyas Formation in Cuenca, this dinosaur stands out for its unique characteristics that differentiate it from other carcharodontosaurids, as well as for the excellent state of preservation of its fossil, one of the most complete of a European theropod dinosaur.
