Georgian Turquoise Cherub Locket cartier An exceptional early 18th CenturyDATE: Georgian, c. 1830 A beautiful Georgian cherub locket dating from the early 19th Century, circa 1830. The cherub is finely enamelled and slightly domed to exaggerate its 3D appearance, and surrounded by a halo of turquoise cabochons. A hinged glass locket compartment is hidden around the back, large enough for a photograph, a lock of hair, or another little keepsake. It's such a sweet piece, wonderfully executed and remaining in great condition.
