Constructed of gilded tombak with mulit coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of an an enameled HJ insignia situated within a gilt border, the reverse with a vertical pinback, stamped with an award number of 4056, maker marked with the logo of Ferdinand Hoffsttter, Bonn, measuring 16. 72 mm (w) x 28. 96 mm (h), weighing 2. 9 grams, demonstrating flecking and fatigue to the enamels, in very fine condition.
