Boophone disticha Friller Dianthus who obtained his from theBoophone disticha 'Friller' is a stunning, super frilly leaf form of the South African native amaryllid, from a population in the Eastern Cape, where these super ruffled leaf forms occur. Most Boophone disticha offered commercially are winter growers, but from this region, the forms are summer growing. Bulbs should be planted with the neck out of the ground. This is a very limited special offering of quite old seed grown plants.
