A Pilot’s Badge, by Friedrich Linden consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac obverse centre presents a red-enamelled(Flugzeugfhrerabzeichen). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a swooping Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the eagle in place, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of manufacture by Friedrich Linden, Ldenscheid, measuring 63. 81 mm (w) x 53. 36 mm (h), weighing 34. 5 grams, most
