When whitening a single tooth, OpalDam can also be used to cover adjacent teeth. Being a light curing and light reflecting material, it protects soft tissue from the heat of the light. A few seconds of light curing (1020 seconds) per tooth is sufficient. Dry the gums thoroughly before applying OpalDam. OpalDam is available in two colors:
