Constructed of bronze, the obverse with a raised rightward facing profile of Grand Duke Karl August, the reverse with an inscription of CAROLUS AUGUSTUS MAGNUS DUX SAXONIAE (GRAND DUKE KARL AUGUST OF SAXONY), the obverse marked ANDRIEU, measuring 40. 48 mm in diameter, weighing 40. 1 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
