1921 Cover Illustrated World Auto Tobogganing Toboggan - ORIGINAL ILW1 MUS1 Incorporated in August 1864 asPlease note that this is a cover only. This is an original 1921 color cover for the Illustrated World Magazine, January, 1921. This unusual image is described in an attached one page article (please see both images). A tobogganing enthusiast with a mechanical mind equipped a toboggan with a large spiked wheel driven by a gasoline engine placed at the rear of the sled thus eliminating the long trudge back uphill after an all too short exhilarating run.
