Crafted using a traditional Florentine technique, which involves cutting the thin slices of Murano glass cane and placing each piece together into the diamond shape of this unique earring. The art and technique of Byzantine mosaics have not changed since they were first made at the beginning of the 5th century in Ravenna, Italy. A diminishing number of expert craftspersons
