Antique Chinese Export Porcelain Canton Famille Rose Elephant Candlestick 1860 Recently Added The front of the braceletA good antique Chinese Qing dynasty famille rose porcelain candleholder, circa 1860. This very attractive antique Chinese porcelain elephant is hand painted in the Canton famille rose palette, and profusely gilded throughout. The elephant having a Gu form candleholder, decorated with a famille rose design and having a gilded rim, below is a caparison (an ornamental covering over a saddle) also decorated in the famille rose palette. The elephant is
