This dinosaur is especially famous for its impressive plumage and for being one of the clearest examples of the evolutionary link between dinosaurs and birds. Its name means "little thief," and the species "gui" was given in honor of the Chinese paleontologist Gu Zhiwei. Microraptor gui measured about
