This Bornean species produces magnificently shaped flared peristomes on robust pitcher bodies with colors ranging from deep brown to pink to candy cane striped

The species was previously referred to salgarense but that name is now deprecated

The Madja-as form of ventricosa is robust and vigorous under a wide range of conditions for us

It's a cross between our Red Ruffled form of [(lowii x veitchii) x boschiana] and veitchii (k) "Orange Fade". Pitcher bodies seem to vary from yellow to pink to red and the stripes on many are incredible. Plants are all seed grown individuals so some variability is to be expected.
