Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a central raised inscription of VERDIENST UM DEN STAAT (SERVICE TO THE STATE), situated within a circular laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, the reverse bearing a raised and crowned monogram of King
