Constructed of ribbed black rayon, the obverse trimmed along both the top and bottom edges with silver aluminum flat wire tresses, bearing a central machine embroidered silver aluminum flat wire inscription of DEUTSCHLAND in Latin script indicating manufacture from 1939 onward, the reverse of the inscription reinforced with a black rayon backer, flanked on each side by a
