A cross constructed of gilded silver, with green enamelled arms, the obverse centre with a central red enamelled medallion depicting the Hungarian Double Cross on a golden crown placed at the top of three green enamelled hills, flanked by the letters M T for Maria Theresia, surrounded by a broad ring of white enamels inscribed PUBLICUM MERITORUM PRAEMIUM (Latin Public
