Constructed of gilded and silvered bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of an eight pointed radiant starburst, overlaid by a central white enameled medallion bearing a gilded Bengal tigers head, situated within a white enameled ring bearing a gilt inscription of AZAD HIND with laurel
