Constructed of bronze with black enamel, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath set around a black enameled disc, overlaid by a Tyr rune, in turn bearing a central mobile swastika set within a circular ring bearing an inscription of FR LEISTUNGEN IN DER HJ (FOR MERIT IN THE HJ), the reverse with a vertical pinback, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei
