Instituted January 28th, 1919. Type II. A matching set featuring the neck badge of the order in silver gilt consisting of a Maltese Cross with white enamelled arms and a Lion of Finland wielding a sword in the quadrant, the obverse with a white enamelled rose in a bed of dark blue enamels, marked with hallmark for manufacture by Alexander Tillander of Helsinki between 1946 1973, 813 H (813 Hopea = silver) as well
