This is a very attractive antique Islamic Qajar period brass Persian Arabic armillary (spherical astrolabe), celestial globe, circa 1850. The globe having a graduated ring engraved with Arabic Script (rather than Farsi, Persia being an Islamic country used Arabic for such items), the hollow sphere mounted on an axle & is ornately engraved with
