These risers lift a crossbar up to create that clearance, giving you a simple, strong way to make hard to fit gear work on your rack. They also open up the crossbar ends so you can add a Smiley for extra tie down points. Each set raises one crossbar using four brackets, two on each end, so plan on one set per crossbar you need to lift.
