Hundreds of Native Americans came south looking for water and a new place to live. They settled in what is today Nambe Pueblo, north of Santa Fe. As the drought continued, the people prayed for rain. Then, one morning, drops of rain began to fall and the drought was gone. This vessel is titled Rain in honor of the first drop of rain
