Biene, Auguste van - Signed Photo 1907 Autographs Singers U-Z French composer (1782-1843)Famous Dutch cellist and composer (1849 1913), started performing in the streets and was discovered by Michael Costa who hired him for this Covent Garden Orchestra. Van Biene later performed with the best orchestras in Europe and developed a highly successful career, died on stage in performance. Signed photo postcard shown with his instrument, dated in 1907. Size is 3. 5 x 5. 5 inches, in excellent condition.
