Germany, Luftwaffe. A Radio Operator and Air Gunner Badge, by Wilhelm Deumer Newly Listed During 1916 he fought in(Fliegerschtzenabzeichen fr Bordfunker). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a mobile swastika, overlaid by a swooping Luftwaffe eagle clutching a pair of lightning bolts, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the eagle in position, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked W. DEUMER, LDENSCHEID, measuring 44. 04 mm
