Email us and we might have something similar in inventory. Antique Japanese Lacquer Pen Scribe's Calligraphy Set and Case, Meiji Period, Circa 1880. The case made of black lacquer and decorated externally with gold as a stylized river, the case enclosing an ink stone and ivory stylus with engraved Japanese calligraphy. The case is signed internally and also with a chop mark to the exterior. The pen set is housed in a pine
