Congo* - Congo Ashanti Untitled “5150”Jamaican vocal reggae band formed in the second half of the 1970s by [a296503] (previously in [a500546]) and [a132585] ([a502678]). The group started recording at the Black Ark Studios for [a41272], who added [a216292] to the lineup to handle the deeper chords. The group split in the early 1980's but reformed in the mid 1990's.
